New baby girls

Erika, Sarah and I just welcomed two new additions to our family. Baby girl Abigail Cooper and baby girl Rebecca Rose were born on June 6, 2010 at 7:29 and 7:30 p.m. Abigail weighed 3 pounds at birth, and Rosie was right behind her at 2 pounds 14 ounces. Sarah got to meet Abigail in the hallway and greeted her with a, "hello baby!"

Both girls are in the NICU with Dr. Banks as their neonatologist (he was Sarah's doctor, too).

Summer Visit to Chicago

We went to visit the family in Chicago. Here are a few pictures of Sarah with her cousins.

Overdue Update

It seems like it has been ages since I have updated! Time sure does fly by..before you know it Sarah is going to be 2!
Since the last time I posted Sarah has started a Mommy and Me preschool at the local college. Sarah seems to be really enjoying it so far. She gets to play with kids her own age, do arts and crafts and gets a little speech therapy. She is learning how to follow directions and clean up her toys, which is always helpful :) I am really enjoying seeing her develop and process her new environment.
Sarah has discovered climbing. Climbing on the couch, down from the couch, up the stairs, down the stairs...up the slide, down the slide. It is exhausting chasing her around. I am told jumping is next.
Summer is now in full swing in our area and that means the baby pool is getting lots of use.
