Sarah gained another 15 grams last night, and is now up to 1445 grams. She was, again, a little fussy early on, but settled in around 1 or 2 a.m. and slept most of the night. She was sleeping peacefully when I came in (a little late) this morning, so I decided to let her continue resting, rather the disturbing her so we could snuggle.
And there's a possibility that Nurse Richelle may get reassigned back to Sarah. If you're reading this, Richelle, we'd love to have you back!
Sarah turned 11 weeks old yesterday (happy birthday!) and today she is 37 weeks gestation. That's full term, for those keeping score at home. If she had been born today, she wouldn't technically be considered premature, even though she wouldn't be much bigger than she is now (but would probably be a little bigger). Three more weeks until her due date!
Most of baby Sarah's furniture came yesterday, so dad will get to spend the day tomorrow putting everything together. It's good, too. I needed something to take my mind off the Patriots game, which doesn't air until Saturday night. This should be a good distraction; hopefully the day will fly by.

Happy Birthday Sarah! Good job at growing... pretty soon you will be home w/Mommy and Daddy in your new room. Daddy is going to put it all together just right, without any bruised thumbs. Then Mommy can have fun decorating! Then, some day soon, we will get to see you in your own crib! You are the best decoration of all!

Wow the furniture is in and getting things ready for her homecoming. And what a sweet day it will be. I am so happy for you! I can't believe only three weeks until her due date. That is absolutely amazing how far she has come. Instead of the journey on the inside we all got to be witness to it! How awesome! It is so wonderful to be able to follow your most amazing story!!! Keep up the good work Sarah and parents! :)
hello Great aunty ruthy is home and in desperate need of a Sarah Chaya fix. I read all the prayers and see that beautiful little girl and it is so gratifying she got so big while I was away. She gained almost a pound with a good eater she gets a prize from me as soon as she can have it in her new crib. I want you to circulate a picture of her room on this site so we can oogle it and love it. She is beautiful.
Happy New Year everyone
