We are so happy to say that Sarah will hopefully be home this month! It has been a long time coming. We certainly love every minute that we get to spend with her, but it will be nice when we can finally have her in her own bed at home.
Sarah lost ten grams last night, and is now 1520 grams. Hopefully she'll pass the 3 and 1/2 pound mark this week.

Yeah Sarah! How wonderful to finally anticipate going home!
And for all you folks who are wondering about a "homecoming party/shower," plan on it! Just can't tell you exactly when! It will be late in February... probably... but the Grandma and the Mimi have to coordinate the details. As you can imagine, we have had to keep everything tentative. So, Erika will register somewhere (more to follow), invitations will trumpet the date, and, God willing, all will proceed as "planned."
Happy New Year,
Grandma
We're praying that you will all be home together, soon! Is Sarah near 40 wks. gestational age?

Elisabeth:
She is 37 1/2 weeks now. Will be 38 weeks on Friday. We were told that she would go home around her due date (when she was born) but due to her size at birth, we are just hopeful that she will be home by the end of the month. After all, most 26 weekers are born around 2 lbs and she just under 1 so she had a lot to catch up to and has done an amazing job.
Hurrah Sara is coming home how wonderful. That means the world to me, could anything be more exciting and blessed.
love & Kisses
Great aunty ruthy
Happy New Year to all 3 of you!
great progress Sarah!
She looks so grown and cute! and soon God willing, she will be home.
Our prayers and best wishes for you.

Best news I've heard all day!!! And this is a day someone in my office brought in muffins. That really says something! :)
How exciting that she will be coming home this month! That is wonderful! Yippie! I am so happy for you guys. I bet you will be having a big homecoming party. I would. It is so much better when you can have your baby at home and do your own schedule and live a somewhat normal life rather than all the trips to the hospital. I am so happy for you guys. You must be so relieved to hear that news.
Count me in Grandma!! Can't wait to welcome baby Sarah and her proud parents to their home altogether!! Blessings are abundant in the new year!
