Sarah made her debut on Sunday and everything went off without a hitch. It was an absolutely magnificent day (if I do say so myself) As usual, Sarah was the beaming star of the show and loved all the attention.
We are so grateful to everyone who came to see Sarah. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to express how important each and every one of you are to us for supporting us through our mission to get Sarah home. We could not have goten through the last four months with out you. Sunday was the perfect culmination of our long journey.
A special thanks to a few people: The NICU staff that were able to make it -Sharon, Cindy, Astri, Karen (and Teresa who was working on Sunday and couldn't join us). They took care of Sarah on her first few hours of life and it meant a lot to us that came. Great-Aunt Paula, who was here from Honolulu. And of course to both Grandma's for planning out the day, from the food to every last decoration. It was a party we will not soon forget.

Richelle:
Thanks for checking in on us! We miss u too but love being home. All your long term babies are leaving! Just goes to show what amazing jobs you do for these little people in the NICU. Keep up the good work!
love you and say hi to arlene for us:)
How wonderful. I wish I could have been there to hold her. She is so darn cute. I am glad that things went well. I would love love love to be out in the 70 degree weather to get the babies out! You are so lucky. I am a bit jealous of your weather!!! LOL We are in a deep freeze and snow alert here. Take care.
Look at our little girl! In leopard print! Is that cute or what! And those hands! I looked at the prior pictures; she is always posing her hands in what looks like 1) piano playing, 2) conducting an orchestra, 3) stiring cake batter, 4) dreaming of petting a nice puppy, or 5)receiving a punt on the football field. This little one is sure to surprise us all.
The party: If no one had shown up, it would have been underwhelming! So it was all of you who came who made it so very very special. Thank you all, once again, for you prayers and support, and for making our welcome home party such a success!
Love to you all!
