Last night we loaded up the MINI, put the top down, and strapped Sarah into her carseat for a ride over to Grandma's. It was a pleasant 95 degrees for the drive, and Sarah seemed to enjoy the fresh air.
Sarah spent the first ten minutes looking at Grandma and Grandpa with a big smile on her face, laughing and giggling. Then, she cried. And cried. And CRIED. But, she finally settled down and we were able to enjoy a nice dinner.
Sarah's teething is really making her uncomfortable during feedings, but Erika is usually able to calm her enough with some gel for her gums. It still hurts her to eat, though.

Poor baby! I didn't know teething was so painful.
Is Sarah eating food now?
What was for dinner?
And may I say how much fun it was to take Sarah around my garden?! I gave her a lesson in colors, using Roses as my medium. She was very attentive, seemed to enjoy the adventure. By Golly! I think I have my first gardening assistant! Anyone know where I can get REALLY small gloves?
Life just keeps getting better!
Love,
Grandma and Grandpa
Sorry to hear that Sarah is suffering from her teething! But, I'm glad she has her grandma and grandpa to distract her...and of course all the beautiful roses! Thanks for the new post with the photos and video...loved seeing them. Take care,
Elisabeth
