Wednesday-Happy Birthday Grandpa!



Sarah weighed in at a WHOPPING 700 grams last night (that is nearly 1 lb 9 ounces). Seems a bit high for an overnight gain, so don't get too excited, she might just need to poop, but we certainly will take it! Nothing else to report since the Doctor has not done rounds yet.

We want to wish Grandpa a very happy birthday today. It is the first of many birthday's as a Grandpa. We look forward to celebrating many more together. We love you Grandpa!

(Looks like the blanket is the perfect size NOW, but if she keeps up this growing I'll be making her new, bigger blankets on a weekly basis!)

I thought about not posting the picture from yesterday but then decided it was ok. I am sorry if the picture offended you. The last thing I want to do is have people thinking this isnt family friendly.

Well Erika I think a picture of a mommy and her baby is always in good taste, but what do I know, I do womens health for a living. That aside, it makes me soooo happy to hear that Sarah is "flying solo", so to speak. Obviously the kangaroo care is agreeing with you both. Can't wait for Roger to have a turn.
