Happy two month birthday, girl. We love you so much! Can't wait to get that cast off on Thursday. I wish we could do it today and give you a nice warm bath for your birthday, but it'll have to wait a few more days. We're so amazed by all your progress in the past two months, and the next to months are going to be so exciting. You're almost home, baby!
Sarah did have a slight setback last night. She lost 20 grams. But its nothing to be worried about. She's been going up so much, we aren't used to the ups and downs anymore, but they still can happen.
This morning she was awake for the entire half-hour I was holding her. She kept moving her arms, crying for a few seconds, looking around the room, repeat, repeat, repeat. She is so alert. I love watching her explore her surrounding with her eyes, even if everything looks like a blurry mess to her.
Last night mommy and daddy went to an infant safety and CPR class, or, as it's also known, the Britney Spears happy hour. Except it was three hours long. Daddy was tired and grumpy. But we learned a lot and mommy made a big list of things daddy gets to do to make the house ready for Sarah.

Hard to believe 2 months have passed since little Sarah made her entrance! It'll be great when you get to cast off your cast, and move those little legs all around.
Happy birthday to my favorite grandchild! We love you.
Grandma and Grandpa
Get ready for many many "Daddy Do" Lists!
Thank you Roger.
Sending move love,
Rosemary, Jay, Katherine, Margaret, and Charlie.
And Roger forgot to mention we took the class with Bo from Days of Our Lives (Peter Reckell) and his wife!! That made it a LITTLE hard to concentrate for me!!
Erika,
You need a little time not concentrating on everything baby. I hope you found it refreshing. Keep up the good work. Enjoy.
Sending more love,
Rosie
This is such a beautiful blog i just love it. Sarah looks so beautiful and what a collection of lovely hats!!
She is getting so big she will be home in no time. Then maybe i will be invited over to see her. I can't wait.

Ruth:
I am not sure why we have no pictures, but Sarah has been using your blankets. Maybe Roger can take a picture to put up. Everyone at the NICU loves her cute little girlie blankets.
Erika,
I can't wait to go shopping for Sarah. I can't pass a baby store now without peeking in. As soon as you say so I want to get her a wardrobe. The things are so delicious I have to stop myself!
love, love, love,
you two are my heros.
great aunty ruthy
To Great Auntie Ruth:
Me too! I just drool over the cute "delicious" baby clothes. But I do have to stop myself... sort of.
I enjoy reading your comments, and hopefully we'll get together some day in the near future and "go shopping!" (Don't worry, Erika. We promise we won't overwhelm you!)
The Grandma
Wow! Happy Birthday little girl! You will love to get that thing off your leg! Keep up the good work.

On the eve of Hanukah last night I would like to offer my prayers and my love to Baby Sarah, Erika and Roger, the dedicated parents. I thank you so much for enabling the family to follow Sarah Journey in her very young life. She is darling and so strong. I am so happy to read about her great progress. I would love to hold her already and sing to her my famous Hebrew songs. Much love from Noga
This Chanukah has been especially miraculous. It's fabulous to see Sarah every day. However, I can't read this blog at work because it always makes me a little misty. Wouldn't want people thinking I'm a softie now.
I think you guys are great and I'm glad the baby is getting better.
Love, love, love,
