Tuesday Night Info
I spent another wonderful day with Sarah laying on me. She slept almost the entire time and this time left drool marks all over my chest:) Her feedings went up to 11 mL's and most importantly, her IV fluids were discontinued and her IV line was taken out. She is only eating milk now. The only things she is connected to are the oxygen hose and her heart rate machines.

That is so great (the drool AND the IV being taken out)!!
She looked so peaceful and natural all snuggled up on your chest. It was truly wonderful to see!
And then, of course, she looked so great snuggled up for the night with her big syringe of milk and her nice cozy crocheted blanket from her favorite Aunt!
It is so heartwarming to read your updates. You and Roger have made us feel so much a part of Sarah's journey, and we thank you both for including us.
So now Sarah needs only a little boost from her oxygen and her feeding tube! How amazing that in such a short time, her little body has figured out how to live in the world. And she is sooooooo amazing, and cute, too!
Right on Auntie Castine and the grandmas. Ditto your feelings. We didn't get a picture (not a complaint, no pressure Erica), so we stared at the previous set with Mommy and baby together and that was just as good. You are so lucky to be so close. What great support Sarah has from her Auntie and Grandma and all the other family members out there.
Glad to hear about Sarah's growing independence.
Sending love and cuddles,
Rosemary, Jay, Katherine, Margaret and Charlie
Incredible news!!!
