Happy Cast Off Day!

Well, Nurse Sharon and I had a plan for today. Find out what time the Orthopedist was coming so I could plan to be there and give Sarah a nice warm bath after she got her cast off. Our plan didn't work. I just called in to see what time the Dr. was coming and to my surprise Sharon gave me the good news. Everything healed and her cast was off! Sharon had to give her a bath immediately since the cast left dust all over Miss Sarah's legs. I really wanted to give her a bath, but I am so glad that gross thing is off. Sharon reported that Sarah is doing great and super happy. I am off to see the baby girl and so excited to weigh her and take lots of yummy pictures. I will update ya'll when I return, don't wait up, I might be there all day snuggling her!

Congrats to you all. Another little setback behind you.Sarah is getting cuter every day, if that's possible. She looks like she is almost three times her birth size. I'm already looking foreward to the clebration party when she comes home. Hopefully Mr.and Mrs. Jordan McCollum can come too. All of us follow the blog and celebrate Sarahs' growth. Love to you all, Loretta

Such good news! Hard to know what our little angel girl is thinking, but she must feel so free without the heaviness on her legs. And I know it is a HUGH relief to her mommy and daddy to know her leg is better and they can resume tummy-to-tummy cuddling (or is that heart-to-heart cuddling?).

Mazel tov and lots of love,
Grandma and Grandpa
